Get ready for another weekend full of fun! As TSA and TAACO ( http://www.taaco.org ), we are going to Hocking Hills Fun Center and Campground. We are having a picnic together, and later we will go canoeing!

We will start gathering for the picnic around 10:00 am at the Old Manís Cave Campground, which is an hour south of Columbus. Bring your own lunch, and TSA will provide the cold beverages.

Later in the day, we will take off to the river (to about 16 miles away) and have a canoe trip of 5 miles together.

Each trip starts every hour on the hour, and canoeing could be done individually. But we know that the more the merrier, and we want to canoe together to take advantage of group discounts at the same time!

We will be having the annual TSA Table Tennis Tournament on May 16th. It will be held in RPAC in the OSU campus. We have reserved the table tennis tables on the second floor. Light refreshments and beverages will be served during the event.

This event is free to anyone who would like to attend, however please note that a valid OSU ID with RPAC membership privilages is required for entrance into the facility. All other participants can purchase a $10 daily guest pass in order to gain access to the facility.

There will be several activities during our traditional picnic. Please bring your friends and kids to celebrate. This picnic will be in potluck format. TAACO and TSA executive committee will provide coal for barbeque, soft drinks and will prepare gift bags for the kids. TSA will further provide "SUCUK-EKMEK" and "HOT DOGS"!!! Further Information: "Welcome Party" is an annual event of the Turkish Students Association. It will be a good opportunity to meet newcomers as well as our current members. Even though this event is primarily prepared for TSA members, you do not have to be a TSA member to join this meeting. However, it is our primary concern to meet new people and help them in getting used to the life in US as well as their new university. In this respect, we will be presenting a few powerpoint slides (about 10 minutes) to give some knowledge about shopping, transportation, parking, etc. in Columbus. Then an open ended question-answer session will take place, where TSA Executive Committee Members will try to answer your questions.

This event will take place in RPAC Meeting Room 1. Note that, you do not have to be a RPAC member to join us. We will be starting at around 20:30 and will stay till 22:30.
